Risks
Your health is our primary concern. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has established regulations to protect those who participate in clinical trials. Healthcare professionals follow strict guidelines and an ethics committee approves every clinical trial.

- You may be given a placebo (a "sugar pill" or saline injection containing no medical benefit) so researchers can compare the results of treatment versus no treatment at all.
